Tired

Well, we are all home today. Mother is doing excellent. Unbelieveable even! She did quite well and responded to all of the therapies well. She was walking up and down the halls right away. She had an appetite right after surgery, even though all she could eat was water and chicken broth the first day. Melissa is quite impressive. She's a little slow on the steps at home, but otherwise, she is back to herself.

Madilyn is an eater. We are expecting her to grow into her long fingers and toes quite well. She has brown hair. She hardly ever has her eyes open enough to tell what color they are, but they look blue for now. You should be able to tell by the pictures, she has a nicely shaped head.

We settled in to our old routines without much fuss. Don't get me wrong, Madilyn requires attention that we haven't given out in quite awhile. Liddy seems to be taking Madilyns arrival - ok. She gave her kisses a few times, but we didn't have the camera handy. I'm sure we will get another chance later.
